Morbidity Week 28 (July 5 -July 11, 2020)
A. Epidemiologic Curve
The first case of COVID-19 in Central Visayas was reported on Morbidity Week (MW) 5. Since then, the region has 11,880 reported cases. Of the cases, detected, 3750 (32%) were symptomatic. Currently, there are 6,155 (52%) active cases (Figure 1).

B. Distribution of cases by Age Group and Sex
Majority (6522,55%) of the cases were males. Age ranged from less than 1 year old to 101 year old, (Median=37 years old) and the most (3045, 26%) affected age group is 21-30 year old (Figure 2).

A. Epidemiologic Curve
The first case of COVID-19 in Central Visayas was reported on Morbidity Week (MW) 5. Since then, the region has 9992 reported cases. Of the cases, detected, 3298 (31%) were symptomatic. Currently, there are 6529 (62%) active cases.

B. Distribution of cases by Age Group and Sex
Majority (5766,55%) of the cases were males. Age ranged from less than 1 year old to 101 year old, (Median=36 years old) and the most (2663, 25%) affected age group is 21-30 year old (Figure 2).

A. Epidemiologic Curve
January 31, 2020 a Chinese national tourist was admitted at ACE Medical Center, Bohol. On February 2020, community contact tracing was conducted in Bohol and Negros Oriental. On March 06, 2020, Negros Oriental reported their first confirmed COVID19 case.On March 13, 2020 Cebu City reported their first confirmed COVID19 case. On April 20, 2020 Cebu City Jail, conducted swabbing activities among PDL and jail personnel. Cases peaked on April 30, 2020 when Cebu City Health Office conducted community tracing simultaneous PCR testing (Figure 1). Of the cases detected 2881 (33%) were symptomatic. Currently, there are 5401 (62%) active cases.

B. Distribution of cases by Cities/ Municipalities
Data from May 24-June 30, 2020 shows that in Cebu province, Talisay City (281, 35%) has the highest number of cases, followed by Minglanilla (154, 19%), and Consolacion (112, 14%) (Figure 2).

Data from May 24-June 29, 2020 shows that in Cebu province, Talisay City (269, 35%) has the highest number of cases, followed by Minglanilla (152, 20%), and Consolacion (103, 13%) (Figure 2).
