The Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH CVCHD) through the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Sub-National Laboratory (VSMMC SNL) has released, as of 5:00 pm today, one hundred fifty-three (153) test results out of which there are twelve (12) positive results. This brings the total confirmed cases in the region to two hundred three (203). We have additional one (1) laboratory negative result from a previously confirmed case. We now have a total of twenty-four (24) cases with laboratory negative results in Central Visayas.
Of the twelve (12) new cases, seven (7) are from Cebu City , bringing the total cases to one hundred seventy-three (173), two (2) are from Lapu-Lapu City which now has a total of thirteen (13) and three (3) are from Mandaue City bringing their cases to nine (9).
Among the provinces, still no new cases recorded in Bohol, Cebu and Negros Oriental. Siquijor remains to have no documented case of COVID-19.
The additional number of confirmed cases has slightly decreased the case fatality rate or the percentage of deaths among those who are infected with COVID-19 from 4.7% to 4.4%. It still lower compared to the global average of 6.4%.

The Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH CVCHD) through the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Sub-National Laboratory (VSMMC SNL) has released, as of 5:00 pm today, one hundred forty-nine (149) test results of which one (1) result is positive. This brings the total confirmed cases in the region to one hundred ninety-one (191).
The additional case is a resident of Cebu City, bringing the total cases to one hundred sixty-six (166). Lapu-Lapu City’s cases is still at eleven (11) and Mandaue City’s cases remain at six (6). The additional case is detected through contact tracing activities and is currently showing mild symptoms. As with the existing protocol, he will be admitted.
Among the provinces, still no new cases recorded in Bohol, Cebu and Negros Oriental. Siquijor remains to have no documented case of COVID-19.

The Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH CVCHD) through the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Sub-National Laboratory (VSMMC SNL) has released, as of 5:00 pm today, two hundred fifty-six (256) test results, out of which yielded nine (9) positive results including two (2) repeat tests of previously confirmed individuals. This brings the total confirmed COVID 19 cases in the region to one hundred eighty seven (187).
Three (3) of the new cases are residents of Mandaue City. The total number of cases for the city is now at six (6). Two (2) are residents of Cebu City bringing the total cases to one hundred sixty-three (163). Lapu-Lapu City also has two (2) additional cases increasing the city’s cases to ten (10). Among the provinces, there are no new cases recorded in Bohol, Cebu and Negros Oriental. Siquijor remains to have no documented case of COVID-19.
The additional number of confirmed cases has not changed the case fatality rate or the percentage of deaths among those who are infected with COVID-19 at 4% compared to the global average of 6.4%. Five of the new confirmed cases are admitted, while the other two (2) cases are for transfer to facilities for admission.

The Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH CVCHD) through the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Sub-National Laboratory (VSMMC SNL) has released, as of 5:00 pm today, one hundred eighteen (118) test results. There are four (4) positive results which included one (1) repeat test of a previously confirmed positive. This brings the total confirmed cases in the region to one hundred ninety (190).
One of the confirmed cases died resulting to a total deaths of nine (9).
Two (2) of the new cases are residents of Cebu City which now has a total of one hundred sixty-five (165). Lapu-Lapu City also has one (1) additional case increasing the city’s cases to eleven (11). Mandaue City’s cases remain at six (6). Contact tracing activities for the new cases are now being conducted by the local health authorities.
Among the provinces, there are no new cases recorded in Bohol, Cebu and Negros Oriental. Siquijor remains to have no documented case of COVID-19.

The Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH CVCHD) through the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Sub-National Laboratory (VSMMC SNL) has released, as of 5:00 pm today, four hundred and twenty-three (423) test results, eighty-eight (88) of which yielded positive results including three (3) repeat tests of previously confirmed individuals. This brings the total confirmed COVID 19 cases in the region to one hundred and eighty (180).
Eighty-four (84) of the new cases are all residents of Cebu City and again are close contacts of previously confirmed cases detected through contact tracing activities. Cebu City now has a total of one hundred and sixty-one (161) cases. The other newly confirmed case is from Lapu-Lapu City. The total cases in the city are now at eight (8). Mandaue City’s cases remain at three (3). Among the provinces, there are no new cases recorded in Bohol, Cebu and Negros Oriental. Siquijor remains to have no documented case of COVID-19.
The additional numbers of confirmed cases resulted in the further decrease of the case fatality rate or the percentage of deaths among those who are infected with COVID-19 from 8% to 4% compared to the global average of 6.4%. The new confirmed cases all have negative to mild symptoms. They will be transferred to designated isolation areas identified by the local government units as soon as possible.
