The Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH CVCHD) through the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Sub-National Laboratory (VSMMC SNL) has released, as of 5:00pm today, one hundred thirty-eight (138) test results. Three (3) specimens tested positive. Two (2) are new cases, while one (1) is a repeat test of a previously confirmed case. The total laboratory negative cases in the region increased to twenty-one (21), with two (2) additional negative results of previously positive cases. There are no reported deaths, total mortality due to COVID-19 remains at eight (8).
The two (2) additional cases of confirmed COVID-19 are residents of Cebu City and were contacts of a confirmed case. As of today, Cebu City has the largest number of cases at twenty-five (25), followed by Lapu-Lapu City at three (3) and Mandaue City at two (2). Among the provinces, Negros Oriental remains the province with the greatest number of cases at four (4), followed by Cebu Province at three (3) and Bohol at one (1). Siquijor remains to have no case of COVID-19.
In terms of laboratory negative, Cebu City also has the highest number of cases that have already cleared the virus in their system. Fourteen (14) of the twenty-one (21) confirmed laboratory negative from previously confirmed are residents of Cebu City, two (2) are from Mandaue City and one (1) from Lapu-Lapu City. For the provinces, Negros Oriental has two (2) with Cebu and Bohol Province with one (1) each.

The Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH CVCHD) through the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Sub-National Laboratory (VSMMC SNL) has released, as of 5:00 pm today, one hundred seventy-one (171) test results. All the results are negative for COVID-19. The total laboratory negative cases in the region is still at nineteen (19) and total mortality due to COVID-19 remains at eight (8).
As of today, Cebu City cases remain at twenty-three (23), followed by Lapu-Lapu City at three (3) and Mandaue City at two (2). Among the provinces, Negros Oriental still has the most number of cases at four (4), followed by Cebu Province at three (3) and Bohol at one (1). Siquijor remains to have no case of COVID-19.

Among our cases, there are only nine (9) who still remained positive of the virus during their repeat tests. We join their families in prayer for their recovery. Although there are no new cases who tested positive today, let this good news not diminish our resolve to strictly follow existing containment measures. May we continue to practice regular handwashing, social/physical distancing, staying in our homes and isolating ourselves when we are sick.

The Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH CVCHD) through the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Sub-National Laboratory (VSMMC SNL) has released, as of 5:00pm today, seventy-eight (78) test results. There is one (1) result that tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total cases in the region to thirty-six (36). The other seventy-seven (77) results are negative for COVID-19. These included the six (6) previously confirmed positive cases that are now laboratory negative. The total laboratory negative cases in the region is now at nineteen (19). There is no recorded death today among the confirmed cases; total deaths due to COVID-19 remains at eight (8).
The one additional positive result is a resident of Cebu City. As of today, Cebu City now has twenty-three (23) cases followed by Lapu-Lapu City at three (3) and Mandaue City at two (2). Among the provinces, Negros Oriental has the most number at four (4) cases, followed by Cebu Province at three (3) and Bohol at one (1). Siquijor remains to have no case of COVID-19.
The six (6) additional negative results from previously positive cases are from Cebu City (5) and Mandaue City (1). In total, Cebu City also has the highest number of cases that have cleared the virus from their system at twelve (12), followed by Mandaue City and Negros Oriental at two (2) each, and Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu and Bohol Province at one (1) each.
